DYDAS Use Case Maritime - Mediterranean Sea Forecast

The Use case Maritime aims at integrating marine operational systems into the DYDAS platform, validating their performances, and making their outputs available to the community of interested stakeholders. It will create an archive of physical ocean parameters (current, sea temperature, sea surface height, and wave characteristics) covering the whole Mediterranean Sea, resulting from high resolution and innovative operational forecast models of the circulation and of the sea state. These models will make use of the data currently available through the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) for the initialization and the boundary conditions needed for the simulations.
